Description: The Four Seasons is one of the most famous works of Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741), and has become standard repertoir for the solo violinist. Concerto No. 4 in F minor (Op. 8, RV 297) "Winter" Allegro non molto, is a timeless movement that is played year round across the world.

 

This arrangement for string quartet matches the original piece in length and key (F minor).

 

It is important to note that the violin solo throughout the original concerto has been distributed amongst the quartet in this arrangement.
